This assembly is made up of men and women of diverse ethnic, educational, economical and social backgrounds, who have been united by the Holy Spirit to exemplify GOD’S KINGDOM CULTURE.

Our History
By the prompting of the Holy Spirit, prayer began in the home of now Apostles Daren and Valerie Phillips, with three other faithful families. Sooner than anyone could imagine growth began to come. On March 18th of 2006 Christ United Church was officially birthed. C.U.C.I. celebrated its first service on the 19th of March 2006 in the basement of the Phillips family. After 9 months of being in the basement (the womb), we were pushed out by the rapid growth to 2944 Rosebud Rd, a 1500 square feet building. Soon after this step of Faith we were again forced to expand due to rapid growth. As the Lord instructed walls were taken down to gain another 1500 square feet.
On our 6th year of Ministry, in the month of April 2012, the Lord enabled us to make a cash payment purchase of 6 acres of land. Just a stone throw away from our present location. A very important event in the life of this Ministry that had toiled and prepared the spiritual grounds of this particular region through constant intercession.
This current year 2021, we are embarking on building a beautiful 15,000 square feet Sanctuary to house the Glory of God and continue to extend His Kingdom. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Our motto is “THIS IS THE LORD’S CHURCH.” God is awesome! He is BUILDING and He is TAKING BACK His Church.
Our Leaders
Apostle Daren F. Phillips is a native of Trinidad, West Indies. He is the first and eldest son of Cecil and Esme Phillips. At the age of 14, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior. An encounter that he ever kept before his mind.
In 1987, Apostle Phillips migrated to the United States to complete his Masters in Dental Technology. It was during that period that the Lord again got a hold of his heart and he had the Damascus Road experience. An experience that forever changed his life. In a matter of three days, he was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost and Fire.
He then found himself with a deep hunger for God and a great passion for His Word. Under the tutelage of his Spiritual Father, the late Bishop Harold L. Joseph, he enrolled in Logos Bible School where he began his journey on acutely studying the Word of God. To this day he holds the same passion for God and His Word, and is in the process of receiving his Doctorate in Theology.
Apostle Phillips is the Senior Pastor of Christ United Church International located in Loganville, GA. He is a true Spiritual Father to many. His vision and teaching ability is an extension and reflection of Bishop Joseph. A scholar and accurate teacher of the Word of God, he is. He’s been well equipped to nurture and mature the Saints to fully exemplify and function in the ministry given to them by God.
Apostle Phillips is a submitted son to Apostle Sydney Stair, President of the C.A.P.E. Organization Inc. He takes pride in being the father of his three beautiful daughters and finds honor in being the husband of his stunning wife, Apostle Valerie, for over 25 years.
Our Beliefs
1. We believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all equal in deity and worthy of worship. Matthew 28:19
2. We believe in the full inspiration of the scriptures as originally given. II Timothy 3:16
3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14; Isaiah 7:14
4. We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. Ephesians 2:8-9
5. We believe in eternal life for all who repent and believe in Him and eternal death for all who reject Him. Matthew 25:46; Luke 1:3
6. We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and His personal, literal and bodily return a second time for the Church. John 14:2-3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18
7. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead in fulfilling the commandment of Christ. Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:36-39
8. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father, for the empowerment of Christians. Acts 2:1-4; John 14:16; John 16:13
9. We believe that Jesus Christ has made provision for our physical sickness and that anointing with oil by the Elders for healing is both biblical and for the church today. Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16-18; James 5:14-16
Our Vision
The Lord’s vision for Christ United Church has been revealed in Ephesians 1:10:
“THAT IN THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF TIME HE MIGHT GATHER TOGETHER IN ONE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST, BOTH WHICH ARE IN HEAVEN AND WHICH ARE ON EARTH IN HIM.”
This is God’s ultimate vision: To unite all things in Christ in Him. Through His Love and magnificent grace He has made us partakers of His divine plan. The Father has reconciled us to Himself and given us the ministry of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18)
His vision is to have in His Church the Five Ascension Gifts, better known as the Fivefold Ministry. These Gifts must be in full operation under the direction and influence of the HOLY SPIRIT.
The
Apostle – Governing,
Prophet – Guiding,
Evangelist – Gathering,
Teacher – Grounding and
Pastor – Guarding.
With these gifts in place, the Church is able to EQUIP, ENCOURAGE and EMPOWER God’s sons and daughters to fulfill their destiny – to be like CHRIST.
There are several missions within a Vision. God has made us a
multicultural Church, a Church of many Nationalities. As the Lord Empowers
His people, they in turn will give Spiritually, Socially, Educationally
and Economically to the WORLD. As co-laborers with God we will implement the following to see God’s Vision executed.

175 ACRES OF LAND – PURCHASING LAND TO BUILD AND EXTEND THE KINGDOM OF GOD WHICH WILL BE COMPRISED OF:
- C.U.C.I. BUILDING COMPLEX
- C.U.C.I. SANCTUARY
- C.U.C.I. SCHOOLS – Educating our children from Day Care to University God’s way.
- C.U.C.I. MALL – Book Store, Library, Bank, Eateries, Clothing Stores, Club House, etc…
- C.U.C.I. ORPHANAGE – For abandoned children.
- QUIVER FULL – A place of shelter, concern, safety and lots of love. A place where their Minds would be cultivated and their Hearts would experience the Love of CHRIST.
- C.U.C.I. HOME FOR THE ELDERLY – DON’T WORRY, BE HAPPY HOMES – Especially those of the Household of Faith.
- C.U.C.I. HOSPITAL – Meeting the needs of the sick in our community SPIRITUALLY AND MEDICALLY.
- IGLESIA UNIDA EN CRISTO – SPANISH SERVICES
Our Ministries
God Seekers Youth/Young Adult Ministry - Preparing a generation to know their God, to know their identity in Christ, to know the Word of God -to walk it and talk it.
In building this very central area of ministry, placed into action is:

Sons of Thunder Leadership - Teaching, Training and Developing God’s people in the dynamics of SERVANT LEADERSHIP, who will then be released with strong leadership skills as leaders of our Churches and Society. These are able men and women equipped to fill the voids that exist and bring proper direction to those they would lead.
